You have to activate it mid-air
You demand to do it in the air, as far as I know.
D'Vorah has the same mid-air x-ray ....if you miss hit the character during mid-air the x-ray will not succesfully work ....that's one reason not to play online with D'Vorah ...merely some players utilize her to spam powers..hahahah ..the aforementioned goes for Takeda ....

Not the aforementioned thing. D'vorah's xray tin exist activated on the footing. It's telegraphed like hell (you lot tin come across it coming a mile away), but it can also connect to an opponent on the ground; they don't have to be midair. You just take to do it far enough abroad. If you're also shut, you'll fly over acme of them. Takeda'southward xray tin But be activated while in the air.

90% of situations I practice concur with you, but equally a combo'd into finisher on 2nd circular etc it can work well, especially on some chars, should you have the meter for some reason (I rarely do, I relieve for combos punishes armor and escapes).

I similar using them for a health advantage sometimes.
I find myself using EX moves and Breakers too ofttimes to even get 3 confined filled.

It's all mathematics. Xray does a certain number of damage. But iii EX-specials in combos tin can easily do more, allow for more. And offer armored escapes etc, or good punishers on reversals and so on. You surrender some nice options for a decent "nuke" set on Usually not worth it.
And online, if someone encounter yous property on to meter when total, theyll just bait yous into wasting your xray, and simply cake it.

Idk, I tin can get a pretty good 35% and forty% combo using one meter as Johnny Muzzle. Ten-Rays usually striking around that much as well. You lot actually want to hold onto at least two, lest you terminate up being the ones that mutter on the forum well-nigh inexpensive moves and combos.
Xrays are a noob trap. Someday someone uses an xray outside of the 1% of times its useful expenditure of meter, I know I'm going to have another free win.
I wish xrays didn't exist, because all it does is prevent people from getting better. And if yous are going to waste matter your bar on a low damage xray for gods sake end doing it on wakeup. People go so desperate online lol
Seriously stop using them. Use the meter on philharmonic and cake string breakers or ex moves. Otherwise I'll just 40% you all mean solar day since you wasted it all
